During the Baroque era, such vocal masters as Monteverdi, Purcell, Handel, Leo, Jommelli, and others expressed these striking contrasts in music of great power; now audiences will experience Ms. DiDonato’s interpretation. In War & Peace: Harmony Through Music will feature accompaniment by Il Pomo d’Oro.
