There are around 10 or 15 singers in the world who are in a league of their own. We would like to use the opportunity of our 2016 Baden-Baden Gala to showcase four of them. You’ll probably have heard each of them individually – however, there’s a special kind of magic to bringing them together on the same stage: in direct competition with their peers, even the best singers in the world are frequently motivated to achieve truly extraordinary performances.

Music lovers can look forward to an unforgettable evening with the acclaimed Latvian mezzo-soprano El?na Garanča, the phenomenally gifted soprano Anja Harteros, the crowd favorite star tenor Jonas Kaufmann and the Welsh opera star Bryn Terfel. These two special performances were created specifically for the Festival Hall Baden-Baden, no where else in world can attract four of the world’s best classical voices to their stage and perform together. In direct competition with their peers, even the best singers in the world are frequently motivated to achieve truly extraordinary performances.

Grand finale: The Festspielhaus sees out the 2015/2016 season with a star-studded Baden-Baden Gala. After arriving at your own convenience, make your way to the Festspielhaus to raise a glass of champagne in honour of this festive evening. The 2016 Baden-Baden Gala starts at 6 p.m. Afterwards, allow us to spoil you with a sumptuous 3-course meal at our in-house AIDA Restaurant to end the evening in style.

After breakfast, pay a visit to the Museum Frieder Burda and conclude your stay in Baden-Baden with a wonderful walk along the world-famous Lichtentaler Allee. Depart at your own convenience.
