Musorgsky’s Boris Godunov. New Production. The Royal Opera House starring Bryn Terfel as Boris Godunov.

New Production. Monday,14 March.7.30pm – 5,April 2016.

The Tsar of Russia Boris Godunov took over the throne murdering the 9 y.o. Tsarevich Dmitry.  The young monk Grigory, realizing he was born the same day as the murdered Dmitry, announced himself as the risen Tsarevich in a bid to seize the throne.
